By accessing or using Ignite App's website (https://igniteapp.net) or any of our products (including LexiLint browser extension), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Overview
Ignite App provides productivity tools with a focus on privacy and user control. Our current offerings include:
LexiLint Browser Extension
A Chrome browser extension that helps you proofread webpages by checking spelling and grammar.
- Free Features: 100% offline spell checking for any webpage
- Free AI Grammar: AI-powered grammar checking (free forever with your own API key - BYOK model)
- Premium Features: Multi-provider AI support (OpenAI, Claude) + 7 languages
We may add additional products and services in the future. These terms apply to all current and future Ignite App offerings unless otherwise specified.
3. Accounts & Registration
Email Collection
We may collect your email address when you:
- Join a waitlist for upcoming features or products
- Purchase a product or service
- Contact us for support or feedback
Your Responsibilities
When providing information to us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Update your information if it changes
- Use a valid email address that you have access to
- Not impersonate others or provide false information

Free Tier
LexiLint's offline spell checking is free forever. No trial period. No credit card required. No hidden fees.
Free Features
AI grammar checking is FREE forever with Google Gemini when you provide your own API key (BYOK model). Free features:
- Are provided "as is" without warranties
- May contain bugs or errors
- May change or be discontinued without notice
- May have limited availability or performance issues
Premium Version
LexiLint Premium is available for:
- Lifetime access: $49 one-time payment
- Monthly subscription: $4.99/month with 7-day free trial (cancel anytime)
What's included:
- OpenAI GPT-4 provider access
- Anthropic Claude provider access
- 5 additional languages (French, German, Polish, Russian, Turkish)
- Priority email support
- BYOK model: You provide your own API keys
Payment Processing
Premium purchases are processed through Polar.sh (powered by Stripe).

- License keys sync across all your Chrome browsers
- We never see your payment information
Free Trial (Monthly Subscription Only)
Monthly subscriptions include a 7-day free trial:
- Full access: Test all premium features, languages, and AI providers during the trial
- No charge: Your payment method will not be charged during the trial period
- Cancel anytime: Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged
- Auto-renewal: After the trial, your subscription automatically converts to paid ($4.99/month) unless canceled
- BYOK required: You must still provide your own API keys from AI providers (Gemini, OpenAI, Claude)
Note: Lifetime purchases do not include a trial period or money-back guarantee. All sales are final.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
Subscription Cancellation (Monthly Only)
For monthly subscriptions, you can cancel anytime:
- During trial: Cancel within 7 days to avoid being charged
- After trial: Cancel anytime; you'll have access until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months
Lifetime Purchases
Lifetime purchases are final and non-refundable.
- No trial: Consider starting with a monthly subscription to test premium features first
- No refunds: All lifetime sales are final

Free Products
Free features (like offline spell checking) have no refund terms as there is no purchase involved.
6. User Responsibilities

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You will not:

- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our systems
- Distribute malware or harmful code through our services
- Abuse or overload our systems
- Resell or redistribute our services without permission
- Use our services to harm, harass, or violate the rights of others
API Key Management
If you use features that require API keys (like AI grammar checking):
- Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for obtaining, securing, and managing your API keys
- Usage costs: Any costs incurred from API usage are your responsibility
- Security: Keep your API keys confidential and secure
- Compliance: You must comply with the terms of service of your chosen API provider
Your Data
You own all data you create or store using our services, including:
- Custom dictionary words you add
- Settings and preferences
- Any content you check with our tools
7. Third-Party Services
Our services integrate with or rely on third-party services. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:
AI Providers
When using AI grammar checking, your text is sent to your chosen AI provider. Current and planned providers include:
Your responsibility: Review and comply with each provider's terms of service and privacy policy.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website to understand how visitors use our site. See our Privacy Policy for details.
MailerLite
We use MailerLite to manage email waitlists. By joining a waitlist, you agree to receive email notifications from us about the product you're interested in.
Chrome Web Store
LexiLint is distributed through the Chrome Web Store. Your use of the Chrome Web Store is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
Sentry (Error Monitoring)
We use Sentry to monitor and fix production errors. Sentry collects:
- Error messages and technical debugging information
- Browser version and extension version
- Feature context when error occurred
What Sentry does NOT collect: Your text, API keys, license keys, or any personal data.

No Liability for Third Parties

8. Intellectual Property
Our Property
Ignite App and LexiLint, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content, are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

- Remove copyright notices or branding from our products
- Use our trademarks or logos without written permission
Your Property
You retain ownership of:
- Custom dictionary words you create
- Content you check using our services

9. Software Warranties & Disclaimers
LexiLint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide reliable service:

- Features may not always work as expected
- We may change, modify, or discontinue features with notice when possible
- Performance may vary based on your device and internet connection
Data Protection
- While we implement security measures to protect your data, we recommend backing up important custom dictionary entries
- We are not liable for any data loss due to software errors, updates, or uninstallation

10. Limitations of Liability
AI Suggestions May Be Incorrect

No Guarantee of Accuracy

Use at Your Own Risk
