By accessing or using Ignite App's website (https://igniteapp.net) or any of our products (including LexiLint browser extension), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Overview
Ignite App provides productivity tools with a focus on privacy and user control. Our current offerings include:
LexiLint Browser Extension
A Chrome browser extension that helps you proofread webpages by checking spelling and grammar.
- Free Features: 100% offline spell checking for any webpage
- Beta Features: AI-powered grammar checking (currently free during beta) using your own API key (BYOK model)
- PRO Features: Coming soon - enhanced AI grammar features with multi-provider support
We may add additional products and services in the future. These terms apply to all current and future Ignite App offerings unless otherwise specified.
3. Accounts & Registration
Email Collection
We may collect your email address when you:
- Join a waitlist for upcoming features or products
- Purchase a product or service
- Contact us for support or feedback
Your Responsibilities
When providing information to us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Update your information if it changes
- Use a valid email address that you have access to
- Not impersonate others or provide false information
4. Products & Pricing
Free Tier
LexiLint's offline spell checking is free forever. No trial period. No credit card required. No hidden fees.
Beta Features
During the beta period, AI grammar checking is available at no charge when you provide your own API key from supported providers (currently Google Gemini). Beta features:
- Are provided "as is" without warranties
- May contain bugs or errors
- May change or be discontinued without notice
- May have limited availability or performance issues
PRO Version (Coming Soon)
LexiLint PRO will be available for a one-time payment of $49 (launch discount: $24.50 for first 50 buyers).
- No subscriptions: Pay once, use forever
- What's included: Enhanced AI grammar features, multi-provider support, custom prompts, report exports
- Updates: Free updates for the purchased major version
- BYOK model: You provide your own API keys from supported providers

5. Refunds & Cancellations
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
For paid products (such as LexiLint PRO when launched), we offer a 14-day full refund policy.
- Eligibility: Request a refund within 14 days of purchase
- Process: Email [email protected] with "Refund Request" in the subject line
- Required information: Your purchase email and reason for refund (optional but helps us improve)
- Processing time: Refunds typically processed within 5-7 business days
- Refund method: Issued to original payment method
After 14 Days
After the 14-day window, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Please contact us with your situation.
Free Products
Free features (like offline spell checking) have no refund terms as there is no purchase involved.
6. User Responsibilities
Lawful Use
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You will not:
- Use our services to violate any laws or regulations
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our systems
- Distribute malware or harmful code through our services
- Abuse or overload our systems
- Resell or redistribute our services without permission
- Use our services to harm, harass, or violate the rights of others
API Key Management
If you use features that require API keys (like AI grammar checking):
- Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for obtaining, securing, and managing your API keys
- Usage costs: Any costs incurred from API usage are your responsibility
- Security: Keep your API keys confidential and secure
- Compliance: You must comply with the terms of service of your chosen API provider
Your Data
You own all data you create or store using our services, including:
- Custom dictionary words you add
- Settings and preferences
- Any content you check with our tools
7. Third-Party Services
Our services integrate with or rely on third-party services. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:
AI Providers
When using AI grammar checking, your text is sent to your chosen AI provider. Current and planned providers include:
- Google Gemini (available now)
- OpenAI ChatGPT (coming soon)
- Anthropic Claude (coming soon)
- Ollama (local, coming soon)
Your responsibility: Review and comply with each provider's terms of service and privacy policy.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website to understand how visitors use our site. See our Privacy Policy for details.
MailerLite
We use MailerLite to manage email waitlists. By joining a waitlist, you agree to receive email notifications from us about the product you're interested in.
Chrome Web Store
LexiLint is distributed through the Chrome Web Store. Your use of the Chrome Web Store is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
No Liability for Third Parties
We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

Your Property
You retain ownership of:
- Custom dictionary words you create
- Content you check using our services

9. Beta Software Disclaimers
LexiLint is currently in beta. Beta software means:

- Features may not work as expected
- Bugs and errors are expected
- Performance may vary
Changes Without Notice
- We may change, modify, or discontinue features at any time
- Beta features may not make it to the final product
- We may reset or clear data during development
